SARA YOUNG

Sara Young is an illustrator and fibre artist from Alberta. She is a recent graduate from the Fibre program at the Alberta College of Art + Design. She works with wool, primarily needle felting, weaving and tapestries.  She also works with polymer clay, paper clay, watercolour, gouache and pencil. Her work focuses primarily on the human figure and visual storytelling. She creates tapestry and illustrative weaving, ball jointed dolls and felted creatures, both real and imaginary.
